LOTTE SCHREIBER’s (*1970) work is a paraphrase on key work “Nude Descending a Staircase " (1912) and on painting “Ema, Akt auf einer Treppe” (1966). While the artist treats the technocentrism of modernism in an ironical manner when she replaces the usual stairs by an electromechanical escalator, the cubist method of simultaneous multi-viewings is made topical by means of digital image manipulation.
